Accessing the demo
- User: email@example.com
- Password: demo
Demo account does have multiple locations configured, but only one location is actually filled with some devices - US West Coast/Santa Clara, the rest are empty. You are free to fill them with racks and devices.
You can do whatever you want to do, the above mentioned account has full write/modify rights to this database. Just remember that every midnight US Pacific time the database would be reverted back to the initial state (a few empty locations and a few devices in a couple of racks in Santa Clara).
You can invite other people to use this demo database and it will work exactly as it would work in your real account. Moreover, the newly invited users would survive midnight purge.
If you would realize that you actually did something useful with the demo account and would like to keep this work, you can Export the location using context menu, save it into the JSON file and then use this file after creating your own account. Ask Support for help if you're not sure how to do this.
Caveat emptor: if you use recent Firefox, then sometimes the rack layout view is garbled, devices in the rack appear misplaced and with wrong sizes. The quick workaround is to just slightly (even by 1 pixel) resize the browser window and everything magically resets back to normal. We're aware of the problem and working to introduce a permanent fix.
Click the button below to get access to the demo account and use credentials from the top of this page. Good luck. Remember, we're always around, we want you to succeed and if you have issues or questions - look at the right bottom side of the browser window, there's an orange "Feedback" tag. Click on it and talk to us. We're excited to talk to you and look forward to hear your feeback!
